I know it sounds like a cliche, but this vision is uncanny in how he saw modern immodest and unisex fashions at the time when he saw California going under  These things would have been impossible for a young man in 1937 to predict: mini-skirts and men wearing earrings!  We know this was not made up after the fact and post dated because it actually was published in newspapers back then.
 
It's worth a read as it fits with the expected earthchanges when Wormwood / "Planet X" passes.  California could literally be flooded by tsunamis as well as shift below sea level due to "every island and mountain being moved out of place" at the 6th seal (Rev 6).
