This is the dangerous belief that guides them; they think it is God who always picks the pope. The False prophet won’t have any trouble rising on this and making world’s entire catholic population to rally support behind him. There are many Catholics who are committed and born again Christians; they will be taken up in the rapture, leaving the ones who will blindly follow their pope. This sets a dangerous and deadly precedent. If Holy Spirit was the one, why would Holy Spirit reject an American pope?  I didn’t know that Holy Spirit had something against Americans.  The fact it isn’t the Holy Spirit that picks the Pope, it is men in their flesh, it’s all about petty politics.
