"Did I see correctly?"
Hello Doves,
I briefly watched the funeral of the late Pope John Paul
II on TV and I need clarification on the following:
-
the coffin appeared to have a symbol like a cross but it
appeared to me that the horizontal portions forming the cross were of different
lengths, with the left portion smaller than the longer right portion. Did
I really see the cross clearly?
-
the longer right horizontal portion of the cross appeared
to have a letter “M” just below it. If indeed it was an M, what does it
stands for?
-
from the commentary, it seems that the funeral was supposed
to be a resurrection celebration, if indeed that’s correct, whose resurrection
was it all about? The Lord Jesus Christ’s resurrection or someone else
who is to resurrect in the not distant future?
