In Revelation 19:19-20 we are told of the awesome day that Jesus Christ returns to the earth with His Raptured saints and when the beastly end time world ruler, commonly referred to as the Anti-Christ, is cast alive into the Lake of Fire. Joining the Anti-Christ in his descent into the eternal fire will be one that the Word of God descriptively calls, "The False Prophet."

Quoting from this passage we read, "Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone."

God then refutes in Revelation 20:10 all those who maintain that the torment of the fire of Gehenna is short-lived and not truly eternal in scope.

After an agonizing thousand years of torment will have passed for the Anti-Christ and False Prophet, we read of what is to then be expected. "And the Devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever."
