"RE: Deborah - "Only one more Pope?  St. Malachy's Prophesy Fulfilled?""

Pope Benedict XVI is not, nor was ever a Benedictine Monk.

The thought goes by the prophecy that St. Benedict gave about the church
leadership during the tribulation period.  Benedict said that a member of
his order will be the final leader who fights against the final evil (or
something like that).

I am a big believer that the 111th Pope is nothing but Satan's man.
Malachy's prophecy about Peter the Roman feeding the sheep through the
tribulation and that he would be the leader in the great persecution doesn't
read to me that he is evil, but one who is the leader of the church that is
being persecuted, not doing the persecution.

As for the 111th Pope, I believe he will be the final official leader of the
Roman Catholic Church.  Benedict XVI was considered a Liberal Catholic
during Vatican II.  He then flip flops and now had one of the fastests
elections to Pope?  He is a rat.  But since we are talking catholic
prophecy, there is one that needs to be said - Garabandal.  There is a
prophecy that came out of that, that basically said that Pope John Paul II
would be the last good Pope.  It appears to contradict Malachy's prophecy,
as does Benedicts prophecy concerning one from his Order.  The way I see it,
the "Glory of Olives" is talking about the Pope who will hold the office
while we get the fulfillment of the Olivet Discourse.  Malachy also included
anti-popes, which are those who held office even though they were not
elected as pope.  I believe this Peter the Roman would be an anti-pope from
the Benedictine Order.
