"Timing of the Lord's return"Hi:

I think we are to figure from the Sign of the End of the Age, the Six-Day War of 1967. At that time, Israel grew leaves (Sinai, West Bank, Gaza Strip and Golan Heights) fulfilling the fig tree parable of Mt. 24:32-34. This sign had to take place while Israel was still tender (apalos, young) and she was 19 in 1967.
Mt. 17 tells us that there are 42 generations from Abraham to Christ, and 2030 years divided by 42 = 48.33 years. Adding 48 years to 1967 is 2015. To me, that is the outside limit for all of the end-of-the-age events to take place.
To refine this further, we need to figure out which years are Jewish Leap Years. The reason is in Eze. 39:12,13. There are 7 months between the Day of God's Wrath and the Second Advent. That can only happen when the Jews add the 13th month in a Leap Year. Otherwise! , there are only 6 months between Tishri 1 and the following Nisan 1.
It seems to me that the end-of-the-age Leap Year will be 5771. Tishri 1 will fall on Sept. 9, 2010; and Nisan 1 will fall on April 5, 2011. Maybe the Rapture will take place on Ascension Day, June 4, or Pentecost, June 14, 2005.
In preparation, we should make sure that all our sins committed after we accepted Christ are confessed to bring them under the blood of Christ. I John 1:4-9 says, "these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not ! in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us o ur sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
In II Peter 1:4-11, Peter gives us a list "by these ye might be partakers of the DIVINE NATURE (Holy Spirit), having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind (like the Laodiceans), and cannot see afar off (Heaven), and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins (when he accepted Christ). Wherefore the rather, brethren (believers), give diligence to MAKE YOUR CALLING AND ELECTION SURE: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be min! istered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ."
Wise virgins have plenty of OIL, the "DIVINE NATURE." They are members of the Bride of Christ that "ARE WITH HIM" at the time of the Rapture. These are "CALLED, AND CHOSEN, AND FAITHFUL" (Rev. 17:14). They made their "CALLING AND ELECTION SURE."
