"The National Day of Prayer, May 5, 2005"

I bought my ticket last Sunday at my church to attend the Prayer Breakfast to be held on 5-5-05, the observance of the National Day of Prayer.

I visited the NDP website and browsed it a bit.  They are promoting a concept called the "Freedom Five."  The idea is to have people take five minutes from each day and set them aside for specific prayers for five "centers of power" in our nation, those being government, education, media, church, and family.

Well, I'm struck by all the "fives;"  but it would be more striking if nobody showed up for the prayer breakfasts set to take place on 5-5-05, all around the country, because those that signed up were no where to be found!  Hmmm.

Keep looking up!
