Dear John and Doves,
 
Not long ago I encountered a woman to whom I rendered medical services for about 4 weeks.  During that time this woman provided me with validation about my father-in-law, a man who had caused a great deal of turmoil in my life.  She knew him very well.  He passed away last May.  Although this man drove a wedge between my wife and I, I forgave him.  This woman was so incredibly honest and forthright to me about the true nature of things concerning my father-in-law.  It was as if she knew I needed the validation she provided.  This was God sent.
 
So much is happening in the world these days.  For the "watchers,"  the Lord's signs are given so we will be ready for His coming.  There is a need for us to make the unsaved aware of the signs and to alert them of what will soon come.  Will there be a final, confirming sign given, that will proclaim full assurance that His coming is near?  This would be the type of sign that is unmistakeable;  that would cause people to drop everything they are doing and take heed.  I don't know.
 
The depravity of this world is accellerating rapidly.  The murdered children in Florida and homosexuality in Christendom are two examples.  Historically, rampant homosexuality preceded the downfall of powerful nations.  As in the time of Lot, the depravity was so bad, God destroyed Sodom and Gomorah.
 
The life and times of the true Church are being threatened at an alarming rate, particularly here in the US.  I do believe that it is the body of believers in the US that is the backbone of this country.  When the Rapture occurs, the US will collapse, economically, morally, legally, militarily, and politically.  The New World Order will take over unopposed.
 
Monday, April 18 will mark the 99 year anniversary of the great San Francisco earthquake.  Earthquakes have been increasing in both frequency and intensity since 1960 when a 9.5 hit Chile.  This was the highest mag EQ ever recorded.  Since then, 1964 Alaska 9.2, 1985 Mexico City 8.1, 1993 Guam 8.1, 2004 Indonesia 9.3, 2005 Indonesia 8.7.  Recent earthquake and volcanic activity is increasing around the globe.  The devastation in Indonesia will make the land infertile for some time.  Luke 21:11,  "and there will be great earthquakes, and in various places plagues and famines; and there will be terrors and great signs from heaven."
 
The sense of expectancy and anticipation is almost overwhelming for me at times.  I become conflicted with family and friends, not overtly, but internally.  However, my strength is unfailing when I go to the Word, and pray.  I then experience incredible peace.
 
I lay down in my bed this night
with hopes my saviour in His might,
will soon come down and rescue me
so that eternal life I'll see.
 
I wake to see a glorious day
in heaven with my Lord I pray,
in His presence I will always be
Thank you Lord for rescuing me!
