"Isaiah 57:1"

Dear John & Five Doves

As a daily reader of your great site I wanted to make my first post.

I read the post by Dove Boyd (below) and felt a strong desire to add
these two verses.

>Dear John & Five Doves;
I have been reading your letters since last September, and have been
truly blessed, thank you. In my morning devotions I just opened my Bible
to Isaiah 57 verse 1:  "The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to
heart; and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the
righteous is taken away from the evil to come." Could "The righteous
perisheth" mean an accident or some cause of death we can explane away"
This verse speaks of the "Rapture"  of the righteous. May we ever be
ready. Dove Boyd>

Thanks Dove Boyd for the good feelings from these verses.

I looked up Isaiah 57:1 on e-Sword and would like to add these -

GNB)  Good people die, and no one understands or even cares. But when
they die, no calamity can hurt them.

(MKJV)  The righteous one perishes, and no one lays it to heart, and
merciful men are taken away; no one cares that the righteous is taken
away from the face of evil.

God Bless
Jim
