The latest Newsmax magazine's cover article is titled, "

The Pope’s Final Battle in These End Times."  See advertisement at http://www.newsmax.com/adv/apr05/

The article is not in my possession, but interestingly, one of the subjects covered is that "

the pope believes he has shepherded the church as we near the Apocalypse."  It may be nearer than even he realized.

Previously, I had read something to that effect.  There seems no doubt that the Pope was aware of the prophetic times in which we live.

CAUTION: There are some really mean-spirited emails floating around attacking the Pope personally and unmercifully.  The messages are evil, and more than revealing the Pope, they reveal the hearts of the spiritually prideful writers.  I want to repeat that much of Catholicism is un-biblical and should be exposed, but many Catholics, including the Pope, have had a John 3:16 and 1 John 5:1 view of Jesus and, if the Bible is true, many will be saved in spite of some faulty doctrine.  That is because, except for you and me (and I am not 100% sure about you), I don't know of anyone else who has perfect doctrine (smile.)

A friend had a vision the other night which bears witness with me:

"Saturday night, my wife and I both woke up and couldn't sleep for about two hours. My daughter's beagle even came in the room and was running around upset by something so I put him out, but couldn't get back to sleep. I laid there and prayed a bit wondering and then the Pope's real name (Carol Wojtyla (sp)) kept running through my head over and over. Then a voice said to me (angel?) there is spiritual warfare in heaven tonight. The Pope was taken before God and His throne. Satan and many, many evil spirits were there accusing him of false doctrine and laying claim to him. Jesus Himself then spoke up and said, 'He is mine!' Jesus claimed him by virtue of the fact that the Pope loved Jesus and worked tirelessly for Him all his life. We all make mistakes and sin, but the Pope loved Jesus and believed in Him strongly. Jesus escorted him in. At that point something like a 'riot' broke out at the gates of heaven among the evil spirits who had accused the Pope and I guess that was the spiritual warfare that I was sensing. They were not happy. After that I fell asleep and remembered it well when I woke this morning."
