"re Popes 111 and 112"

Shalom All:

I went to the link provided by MJ Martin (5 Apr 2005)
"Prophecies...listed 111, not 112 (added later)"
http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/apr2005/mjm45-11.htm

As I read the info for PETRUS ROMANUS who is said to be after GLORIA OLIVAE
the description didn't seem to me as a "false" leader.  Unless the
translation is bad it seems to me this PETRUS fellow is going to have his
hands full dealing with the counterfiet!  And ... when Yeshua returns NO
SYSTEM of man will stand!  The seven-hills won't be standing!  And all the
beautiful edifices will be nothing!  All will have to be made new.

Interesting that  1 1 1  is the last pope listed until 1820.

( number 111)
Pope ?
 Latin motto = GLORIA OLIVAE
Interpreted to mean - The glory of the olive
Name - ?
Olive branch has always been associated with peace and this description might
have been most fittingly applied to Pope Pius XII as a reference to his coat
of arms. There is little doubt that this legend can be more easily explained
in the future than the one before. Some medieval interpreters have gone out
of their way to stress that Malachy in his prophecies does not specifically
mention that no Popes shall reign between Gloria Olive and the last Petrus
Romanus; nor on the other hand does he mention that there will be others.
< Note: As stated earlier the original prophecies of Malachy did not contain
the Petrus Romanus motto - it was added after the 1820 publication of the
prophecies. >
The Order of St Benedict has claimed by tradition that this pope will come
from within the Order. St Benedict himself has prophesied that before the end
of the world comes about, his Order will triumphantly lead the Catholic
Church in its fight against evil. The Order of St Benedict is also known as
the OLIVETANS, which may well account for another interpretation of the
prophecy.

( number 112 )
PETRUS ROMANUS

The final legend is self-explanatory and The Prophecies of St. Malachy
conclude with this short but fascinating prophecies as follow:
"In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Peter the
Roman, who will feed his flock among many tribulations; after which the seven
hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people".

I also found this in Lampholder's posting (5 Apr 2005)
"The Last Great Pope, Lampholder Publications, April 2, 2005"

I followed the link to the Lampholder that gives info about St. Malachy
O'Morgair and more on his prophecies.

ST. MALACHY O'MORGAIR, ARCHBISHOP OF ARMAGH, IRELAND
St. Malachy (1049 - 1148) was an Irish Bishop, prophet, and seer, who
prophecied the reign of future popes by a one-sentence verse to describe each
popes' characteristics.   During a visit to Rome, St. Malachy had a vision of
the papal lineage.  Malachy's prophecy remained hidden in the Vatican until
it was discovered in 1595.  Some reports indicate St. Malachy's visions were
merely a fabrication done some 600 years later by a Belgian monk named Arnold
de Wion (also de Wyon); but after reading St. Malachy's list of popes, there
is an interesting prophetic scenario that emerges.

There are two versions of St. Malachy's prophecy.  One list included 112
popes and the other 111!  In the latter, the 111th pope [Gloria Olivae], is
passed over and the list skips right to the last, the 112th pope.  So which
version is correct?

In both accounts, the list begins with Pope Celestine II
(1146).  In Malachy's list of 112 popes, he gives the characteristics of the
last three future popes including and following [what some have interpreted
to be] John Paul II, the 110th pope.  Malachy doesn't give any indication as
to what happens after the last pope, so many scholars conclude this to mean
the end of time.  Interestingly, a very old Italian prophecy reads, "When the
White Pope and the Black Pope (Head of the Jesuits or an Anti-Pope) shall die
during the same night, then there will dawn upon the Christian nations the
Great White Day."

In the papal election, the cardinals gather together to vote by secret
ballot.  The cardinals choose three who collect the ballots, three who count
the votes, and three who review the results.  Two votes are taken every
morning and two every afternoon until a two-thirds plus one majority is
obtained.  Catholic followers in St. Peter's Square watch the balloting by
way of an ancient custom - the smoke rising from the palace chimney as the
ballots are burned.  If the majority vote has not been reached, the smoke
burns black.  When the majority of ballots have chosen the next pope,
the chimney burns "white smoke" to signal the outcome of the election has
been resolved.

From now to Pesach (delayed) MANY events will occur.  Do you know the real

Even so come suddenly our Beloved Kinsman Redeemer!
