Shalom Jeff and All:Here's what comes to mind for me.
Some Naval Academy students once built a model of Noah's ark from the Bible's
description. They were laughed at until their ark was put through its paces
... and it survived very nicely! The animals didn't have to be EVERY variation we see now. The basic "animal"
kinds would have been all that was needed to be saved. And why would oooold
(BIG) animals have been put on the ark if the idea is to have them muliply
when the flood-waters recede. The "crust" of the earth, as I understand it, "floated" on a network of water
containing "structures". When the crust broke the water escaped like
fountains. The high flying water would have frozen and acumulated at the
poles being affected magnetically. The canapy also was destroyed becoming
part of the flood event. There certainly would have been enough water to go
around.A search on the net will get you to some wonderful creation sites with
wonderful facts! They will have so more than what I just remember.Dianne
