Addendum: The Rise and Fall of
Empires
I thought of a few more points that can be added to
this BOOK!
Remember the three empires that the Scripture singled out?
Grecia/Leopard, Medo-Persia/Bear, and Babylon/Lion.
Another
intentional highlight tips us off to the iron teeth of Rome and the brass nails
of Greece.
Another verse said that Grecia (Alexander) was given
dominion.
And another said that Grecia (Alexander) shall bear rule over
all the earth.
We know from Bible study that when Holy Spirit makes
something so clear and definite that there is powerful meaning in the statement.
I believe it is a strong indicator that Alexander is in fact the ruler from
history who will be the eighth beast, with seven heads, ten horns, and ten
crowns.
Grecia (Alexander) was the third kingdom on Nebuchadnezzar’s
statue, and the fifth head of the seven headed beast.
Don’t forget:
The false prophet makes an image of the ruler from history – who
received a mortal wound. An image of Alexander is erected, and the false prophet
causes the image of the ruler, i.e. the former ruler (Alexander), to come to
life.
Revelation 13:15 And he (the false prophet) had power to give life
unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and
cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be
killed.
One of the heads on the beast was wounded to death; and his
deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
Can
you see why the people will wonder when they see Alexander the Great alive
again?
Also important to remember is that when looking at the statue all
empires flow from out of Babylon.
So, too, when looking at the seven
headed beast we must keep in mind the entire description of the beast. The beast
is an individual having a body with seven heads, ten horns, and ten crowns, and
the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. Now I don’t
believe for one minute that this person will look like the description that we
are given. These are symbols for us to identify the last and final beast
kingdom.
Consider this eighth beast:
Let’s really look at
him:
He has seven heads:
The seven heads are each of the
historical heads, e.g. Nebuchadnezzar, Alexander, of the seven empires before
him. We know that other heads came after these in history, but the heads on the
beast are the notable rulers. This beast, or final ruler, will have the combined
power, authority, and might, etc. of all seven rulers before him. I remind you
that these men were given their power, authority and might by a demonic prince
that was over the land area at their time in history.
He has ten
horns.
The horns represent each person who was the king or emperor
over the former empires revealed in our Nebuchadnezzar statue, and the two
earlier empires (Egypt and Assyria). This means that this final beast will have
the combined dominance of all seven empires before him.
He has ten
crowns:
The ten crowns upon his seven heads symbolizes that he has
the collective high ranking sovereignty, and majestic splendor of the seven
empires before him.
He has names of blasphemy on his
heads:
We also see the names of blasphemy upon his seven heads which
symbolizes the combined irreverence and disrespect for any other sovereignty,
i.e. “And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name,
and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.”
Again, we can
see why the people wonder after this person. He will be the most powerful ruler
ever, having regal authority, and a charismatic personality like none that have
come before him. He will be the perfect ruler with the very best qualities of
every ruler before him.
Who is like unto this ruler?
Who
can make war with him?
Most people of the earth will believe he is
the ruler of all rulers.
The Moslems will believe their Mahdi has come.
Their Al Mahdi (the guided one), which will materialize when the believers are
severely oppressed in every corner of the world has come. They believe that he
will fight the oppressors, unite the Moslems, bring peace and justice to the
world, rule over the Arabs, and lead a prayer in Mecca where Jesus will be
present.
The Jews will believe the Messiah they were told of has
come.
All peoples of the earth will take his mark save those who are
hidden away, or those who stayed behind to witness to others the salvation of
Messiah. None are recorded as being saved in the last forty months during this
eighth and final rulers reign. All will take the mark or be martyred for the
faith they embraced during the time of Jacob’s trouble, the first 1260 days of
the tribulation.
The entire prophecy points us to this final earthly
ruler.
Here are the highlighted portions of the Scripture again;
these help us to see more clearly how we can conclude who the beast who is to
come will be.
“And the beast (Anti-Christ) which I saw was
like unto a leopard, (Grecia) and his
feet were as the feet of a bear, (Persia) and his mouth
as the mouth of a lion: (Babylon) and the dragon (Satan) gave
him his power, and his seat, and great authority.”
Grecia -
Leopard
We know he is swift and scheming like Alexander the Great,
i.e. the leopard is swift and
cunning.
Medo/Persia - Bear
We know his
province is in the land of the Old Medo/Persian area, i.e. the feet
of the bear are planted here.
Babylon –
Lion
We know his main headquarters are in Baghdad, Iraq, i.e.
Babylon; the lion is the king of all
the animals and he rules with his mighty roar.
We know his goal
is supremacy, i.e. the crushing iron
teeth of Rome and the brass nails of Grecia.
And lastly, we know
he is ruled by a demon prince during his forty two months of time in power.
We know that the demon prince that rules him is the evil prince of
Grecia, the same powerful spirit that once ruled the mighty Grecian, Alexander
the Great.
In conclusion:
King Abdullah II of Jordan has been
anointed to be the spokesperson for the entire surrounding Arab states in the
matter of peace in the area.
He has come up quickly among his Arab
brothers.
He is the one who has already been anointed to broker peace in
the Middle East.
He will keep the peace in the Middle East quieted for
three and one half years (1260 days).
At which time Abdullah II will be
taken over by a demon prince who ascends from the Abyss.
He will become
the most extraordinary earthly ruler to have ever ruled before him.
The
final story:
He will be defeated at
the end of his earthly reign by Jesus Christ and Jesus will cast him into the
lake of fire.
Jesus will usher in the Stone
Kingdom for a thousand years and Israel will be living at peace on all of her
promised land.
If I think of anymore tid-bits before we depart up
yonder, I’ll add them later.
Blessings,
De
Thanks again John...
