I think that anyone who is drawn to the Five Doves website and its postings of rapidly fulfilled prophecy..... fulfillment at an accelerated pace in recent months....feels the same way you do.  Its not escapism.  Knowing what hour we are in, provides a sense priority, a sense of urgency to "work while it is yet day"....get your affairs in order....because the time of darkness is coming.

The stage is COMPLETELY set now for the 4 riders of the Apocalypse to gallop onto the world scene with their atrocities.  The days are certainly full of evil, just as they were during Noah's time, just prior to God's judgment of the flood.  Surely the wrath of God is just around the corner now.

The time of the Gentiles is rapidly coming to a close, and again the time of the Jews is rapidly being restored, when God will deal with the Jews directly....that last week of Daniel's 70th week.  Israel as a nation was reborn in a day.  Now in 2005, the Sanhedrin has re-assembled in Israel, making their top priority the rebuilding of the Temple on the Temple Mount.  Their 2nd priority was to renounce the current disengagement plan, reminding Jews of their duty to God and to have faith in God for their protection.   This disengagement plan of Bush/Sharon is causing a DEEP divide between the faithful Jews and the godless Jews.  The line has once again been drawn in the sand for God to see who wants to Trust in God and who doesn't.  As was true in Old Testament times, no doubt the godless Jews are choosing their own fates today.  God will dispense with them, as He did before.  2/3 of the Jews in Israel will be ravished and killed in the coming days......the remaining faithful Jews will be brought through the fires of adversity to purify them in preparation for the final return of Christ.

Remember, when Jesus wept over Jerusalem, why did He weep?

Jesus wept, because the Jews did NOT UNDERSTAND that THIS was the Time of their Visitation by their long awaited Messiah.  God held each Jew accountable for knowing this important hour.

Luk 19:41,42 And when he [Jesus] was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things [which belong] unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

Luk 19:44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

Jesus wept, because the Jews did NOT UNDERSTAND that THIS was the Time of their Visitation by their Messiah.  Because they were too busy with their own plans, they MISSED IT!   There were many Jews, even some in the Sanhedrin whose heart was right with God, and God made sure that as busy as they were, they weren't too busy to NOTICE the Divine Phenomenon that Jesus of Nazareth presented.  Nicodemus SOUGHT out Jesus.  Joseph of Arimathaea likewise recognized Jesus was the Messiah.  But most of the religious leaders did NOT recognize the hour had come for their Messiah to appear There were many signs pointing to his near appearing......but sadly MOST missed it.  This is why Jesus wept.

Those that Jesus did NOT weep over, 1) Knew the prophecies of the Messiah, and 2) Recognized the signs of his soon appearing causing them to WATCH.....and finally 3) Because they BELIEVED the Prophecies of the Messiah's coming, and because they were WATCHING for Him, they did NOT miss Him.....they Embraced Him and Rejoiced at His Appearing.

At His first appearing Jesus COMMANDED His followers to WATCH for His RETURN for them.

As was true at His first appearing, so it will be true at His next appearing.   Each Christian will be held accountable for knowing the signs of His soon return for us.

1) We must not be ignorant of the prophetic scriptures.  We are commanded to rightly divide the scriptures, to understand prophecy, and
2) We must be WATCHING for Him as Jesus COMMANDED us to do repeatedly, and
3) We must BELIEVE the Scriptures and prophecies to witness the Bridegroom's Midnight Call for His Bride.

Not just any Bride, He comes for the Bride who has "made herself ready", with no spots or wrinkles, and plenty of Oil (Holy Spirit) in her lamp.  The Bride of Christ we are told repeatedly will NOT be caught off guard.  Christ will NOT come as a thief in the night for His Bride......because His Bride is anxiously awaiting Him.....anticipating His arrival....preparing herself....getting her affairs in order to go off with Him.  God gave us this Groom and Bride symbolism to help us to understand what our relationship to Christ is suppose to be like.  The heartsick Bride anxiously WATCHING for Her Groom to arrive.  Nothing else is quit as important.  Common sense says that the only ones who will be surprised by His coming will be those who are not looking for Him, not WATCHING for Him.

So, I would dare to say that those who scorn your remarks about the Lord's soon (VERY NEAR) coming are NOT ready......or don't want Him to return just yet......they are busy with their own plans and goals.  Remember there is a lot of truth to the saying "the road to hell is paved with good intentions".  Good intentions, not God Intentions.  Their priorities are out of divine order.

But don't listen to me.  Listen to Jesus' repeated warnings:

Trashbin Cat (15 Apr 2005)
"is it just me ?"

Doves,

Cat wants to ask you a question, the last many days, I feel powerful dreams and thoughts of God increasing in severity, about the nearness of His coming, when I tried to talk this to other Christians, they are missionaries, they say back “no, you are wrong, God’s return is not near, there is so much more work to be done, so much gospel to spread” and they get upset at me. Is it just me they are picking on? Anyone else getting this powerful feeling God is coming back fast?

That is why cat comes and sits quietly in five doves’ site. Cat is tired of Christians throwing stones at it, just because it feels that Christ’s return is now imminent.
