Hello John and all lovely Doves....
DIVIDING HIS LAND (ATTN: DAVID)
Today (4/8/05) there is a quote from DAVID who talked about the Israeli's losing their land, and settlers having to be removed: when I read his quote, something occurred to me, his quote:
"We have lost Gaza and Gush Katif, we have lost Judea
and the Galilee, we are losing the Negev and now it
looks like all of the Eastern Jerusalem is being
planned to be returned to the arabs.
We are now surrounded by enemies."I got to thinking about these events, and relating them to Biblical verse, and remembered that the nations which are brought to Armaggedon have angered God for one of many reasons in that they,
Joel 3:2 - I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
In addition, the antichrist is said to "divide the land", in:
Da n 11:39 - hus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.
It is truly remarkable that these things are coming to pass right under our noses, and that the nations are encouraging Israel to sever portions of the land, which God had covenanted to give them. It is also interesting that in the above passage, Joel states that God says, "my land"........these nations are not just fooling around with what they think is "Israel's" land - they are fooling around with what God calls "my" land. A huge reason for bringing on the wrath of God.......I certainly would not want to be part of the crowd that brings to pass any division of "God's" land............I have enough problems without this heavy on me..............................
Wow - we live in such wonderful times, that are seeing the fulfillment of so many scriptures. The time certainly is short for us to draw nearer to Him, or let me say, to ask Him to draw ever nearer to us, not wishing to presume that I am any great prize for Him, but following that which is said,
"praying to be found worthy to escape all these things..."..Abiding Peace of the Lord ! YSIC Arlene
