it occurred to me that one of the verses in Joel may have an application to the pouring out of the Holy Spirit:, that verse being:
 
 

Joel 2:28       And it shall come to pass afterward, [that] I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
 

This Holy Spirit dousing comes about "afterward"......after what?    the rapture?
Looking at the rapture of Elijah, we see that "after" the rapture of Elijah, his servant Elisha, received  a "double portion" of the Spirit that Elijah had.

This is a clue.   Every single jot and tittle in the Bible is a clue; I just don't have time or the mental capacity / intelligence, to get to the bottom of so many things.   But do we not have eternity to study His Word more?   He said, "my Words will never pass away"......Praise God.   We have some time here to study some more.......Love,   Arlene
