"Re:  Are Babies in Heaven?"

John,

My Grandmother was a Light for God in this world and I'm sure that when she started praying several angels snapped to attention awaiting instructions.  My Grandmother lost her first born child at a year old in 1925.  She usually refered to Hazel as the baby.  In January of 1998, she and I were looking at old pictures and came across a picture of Hazel's grave with Grandmother, Granddad and his mother kneeling beside the grave.  Granddad passed away in 1978.  Grandmother told me that she had led a full life and missed her husband more each year.  She told me that she always wondered about Hazel and asked if I thought she would remain as a baby or grow up.   She then said that she was ready to go and that it wouldn't be long.

Less than 3 months later, outside my Grandmother's hospital room, I related this to her youngest son and he turned as white as a piece of paper.  He told me that just a few minutes earlier, Grandmother looked up at him, and whispered "I always wondered about the baby and now I know!"  He said the look on her face was pure joy and had the sweetest smile.  Less than an hour later, at age 93, Eula Mae White was with her Savior, her husband and her daughter, awaiting those of us that remain.

I believe without a shadow of a doubt that "Babies are in Heaven".
