"Prayer request"

Dear Doves,
My cousin Andy J. has two sons in the Marines.  One is 23 years old and is fighting door to door in Fallujah, Iraq at this very moment i write.  The other is 18 years old and is getting ready to be shipped to Afghanistan.  He is beside himself with worry for their lives and i pray that you will all pray for the safety of these two young men and all our men and women on the front lines today.
Andy received a call from his son Ty who is in Iraq and he explained the horror of the kind of fighting they were in.  He said it was insane.  The enemy are so filled with hate and rage that they will not stop.  Unlike other battles where a show of force will cause retreat these are like madmen who will not stop unless they are killed.  The Marines and others fighting with them have to kill in order not to be killed.  It is a picture of overwhelming evil as far as i am concerned.  The Lord's word says "our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities and powers of darkness in the heavenly realm".  The picture this young man paints is that very truth.  Think about that as you try to imagine what theses young men and women are faced with.  It is almost like a horror movie with evil forces coming against humans that are ill equipped if they are not believers. We as children of the Living God need to keep these soldiers upheld in constant prayer.  The enemy of our souls has held this territory and its people in chains of bondage for centuries and we have invaded his own backyard.  He is fierce and formidable and is not inclined to let this nation or any of his other captives free from his grip of evil.  Please pray for supernatural power for our troops to overcome and let the light of truth come into these regions held in darkness.  And please pray that Ty and Jeremy J. will be protected from harm and will return home healthy and whole.
God bless you all in our Lord Jesus Christ,
YSIC, Sheila Baker
