I have seen numerous letters posted to the Five Doves with quotes, links to web sites, and experiences that people are hearing many messages from the Lord. I have come across many of them myself. A large majority of these messages are proclaiming that God's people are about to enter a new phase of outpouring of His Spirit. That we must get our lives to a higher level of trust in Him, forsaking the way of the world we live in. That there will be separation within the Body. That a new Church is about to emerge purified by Him. That we have work to do concerning the Great Commission. That the faithful will shine His light to the lost world around us. This is the general gist of much of what we are hearing today.

While we must be vigilant in testing any messages supposedly being uttered in the Name of the Lord, one major point should be readily apparent. They seem to be indicating that there is action to be done on our part with the help of a greater outpouring of His Spirit. Logic would tell us that this is not something that could be accomplished in a short time. Scripture confirms that there is work yet to be done as we shall soon see. The expectation of the rapture occurring in the next few weeks is extremely unlikely. Nor is it likely to occur this year at all. Be faithful, lean on Him, and trust in His Word if you are disappointed by the passing of the 2004 Fall feasts and you find yourself still on this Earth. God has a great work in store for those who trust in Him.

These messages from the Lord have a profound basis in end times prophetic scripture, especially those related to a purified church shining brightly in the world. We shall examine some of these scriptures to see if these messages are true:

Daniel 12:1 "At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book. 2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever. 4 "But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase." [NKJV]

Daniel 12:9 And he said, "Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand. [NKJV]

Daniel 11:31 And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation. 32 Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. 33 And those of the people who understand shall instruct many; yet for many days they shall fall by sword and flame, by captivity and plundering. 34 Now when they fall, they shall be aided with a little help; but many shall join with them by intrigue. 35 And some of those of understanding shall fall, to refine them, purify them, and make them white, until the time of the end; because it is still for the appointed time. [NKJV]

There are those who would have you believe that the people referenced in the highlighted scriptures above are Daniel's people, Israel of the end times. How do they reconcile these passages in Daniel with the following scripture:

Zechariah 12:9 It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. 10 "And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. 11 In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.* 12 And the land shall mourn, every family by itself: the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves; 13 the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of Shimei by itself, and their wives by themselves; 14 all the families that remain, every family by itself, and their wives by themselves. [NKJV]

This prophecy of Zechariah makes it 100% ABSOLUTELY CLEAR that the descendants of Daniel, Israel of the end times, will NOT understand the times until the very end; the 2nd Coming of Yeshua HaMashiach in power and great glory at the end of the tribulation. Only then will they recognize the "one whom they've pierced". Israel does not receive the Spirit of Grace until the very end of days. But the followers of Yeshua already have the Spirit of Grace. The people referenced in Daniel are non other than the followers of Yeshua HaMashiach, not Israel. Undoubtedly there will be Jews who have found Yeshua HaMashiach in the end times, but they are in the minority today and will likely remain so until the prophecy of Zechariah is fulfilled. Daniel's group of people who understand and shine brightly are further identified in Joel chapter 2:

Joel 2:1 Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the Lord is coming, For it is at hand: 2 A day of darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness, Like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, The like of whom has never been; Nor will there ever be any such after them, Even for many successive generations. 3 A fire devours before them, And behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, And behind them a desolate wilderness; Surely nothing shall escape them. 4 Their appearance is like the appearance of horses; And like swift steeds, so they run. 5 With a noise like chariots Over mountaintops they leap, Like the noise of a flaming fire that devours the stubble, Like a strong people set in battle array. [NKJV]

Joel 2:11 The Lord gives voice before His army, For His camp is very great; For strong is the One who executes His word. For the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; Who can endure it? [NKJV]

Joel 2:28 "And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. 29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. 30 "And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. 32 And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls. [NKJV]

Like Daniel, this chapter of Joel is a prophecy of the end times, specifically at the Day of the Lord.  This mighty group of people of whom the Lord pours out His Sprit is one and the same as the people we just looked at in Daniel. Based upon Zechariah's prophecy they cannot be Israel of the end times. They are the followers of Yeshua HaMashiach. As a matter of fact, the words used to describe this group of people in Daniel and especially Joel mirror the messages being given through God's servants today! His message to His people is the same yesterday, today and forever. Moreover, these people are also in focus in Revelation:

Revelation 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. [NKJV]

Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. [NKJV]

Indeed, it will take a people of great faith and the fire of God's Spirit to carry out the exploits described in Revelation and the prophets of old; to be overcomers. Only an army of God dressed in the battle array of His Word and His Sprit can accomplish this feat. Do you think this is a destiny for the unwise, weak and foolish? Is this the destiny of the 5 foolish virgins who have no oil? Isn't the oil the measure of His Spirit inside of us? Can those with no oil be overcomers, even to the point of being martyred for their faith? Or is it true that only the 5 wise virgins who have the oil of His Spirit will be able to trim their lamps, bringing forth light so that they may go out into the midnight hour darkness and await the bridegroom's coming? What midnight hour is Yeshua speaking of in the parable of the 10 virgins [Matt 25]? Didn't He just tell us what it is in this same Olivet Discourse in the previous chapter 24? Daniel, Joel and John prophesied of these people of light during the time of great trouble. They are those who understand, who have the light of God in their lives. The 5 foolish virgins will not be able to trim their lamps for light in the midnight hour darkness because they will not have enough oil of the Spirit of God within them. And while they are out looking to obtain some, they will miss His Glorious Coming. They are the foolish who will not understand.

As we can see, many of the messages being given today confirm God's messages given to His prophets. There will be much work for the faithful to complete in the times that we now find ourselves in. There will be no escape from this hard work in the coming time of darkness. This is a very difficult message for many to receive so keep your faith in Him strong.

Romans 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. [NKJV]

It Is Time To Rise Up

April 19, 204

What I have told you, will be seen, exactly as I have given it to you.
For I have called you to stand before Me and to speak forth those things
that I have now begun to reveal to this generation. For the time of
revelation has been given. My Own will come to Me and will receive Truth
from My Hand and not from a middleman anymore.

No more will My People accept stolen bread, or spoiled meat, but they
will eat My Living Word, and they will obtain it from Me. I am calling
each of My People to meet with Me. They must each know Me for
themselves, and be able to stand in the time of darkness that has come.

Every man, woman, and child will know what they believe, whom they
believe in, and what the Truth is. For I am requiring all My People to
walk in Truth, and to be responsible for their own walks. There is no
middle ground. Either they serve Me or they don't. Now it is time to
walk with Me.

It is Time to Rise Up!

What I have spoken to you in My Word is True, and will come to pass as I
have stated. It will not happen as many men have declared it to happen,
and as they have chosen to believe it will. It will happen as I have
written it. My Babes know the Truth, and they can see clearly. Men have
chosen to see what they want to.

My Word, is a Living Word, and it shall bring forth every aspect of My
Will, for the Time is Now, for My Purposes to be seen amongst My People.

Prepare for My Winds.

For they have begun to blow and will increase even more, and will blow
until nothing is left standing, but My People. For I am showing all
things for what they are. My People will stand firmly planted in Me, and
all else will fall under the weight of My Winds.

Prepare for the Rains.

For they have begun, and I have told you to begin to run for they will
overtake you if you do not obey. I have brought forth My Rain of Truth,
and it will become a Deluge, and it will wash away all uncleanness and
will bring forth a clean and holy people. It will also release the
former and latter rains that have now come to the time of full birth.

It is time for the Latter Rains, and it is Now that they will pour out
in My House. No more will it be looked for, dreamed about, prayed in, or
delayed, for it is time, and it is NOW. It has begun to rain. It has
begun to blow. It has begun to shake.

Prepare to Run.

I have told you it was coming.

Do not deter from what I have told you to do. Do not stop advancing, as
I have fully prepared you, and am with you as you go. Do not fear what
others think, but fear Me! Remain focused and continue on!

For I am the Lord and what I have spoken, I will do, and I will do it
through you!

It is time to rise up, and see what I will do!
