I want to thank Marie Komar for her interesting post, "Politically Speaking". She is right on all her points .
As Christians, we are supposed to be salt and light........salt preserves and we need to "preserve" as long as we are on this earth........light needs to be shone in the darkness and again, as long as we are here, we need to shine because we KNOW the light of the world.
Jesus told us to "occupy till He comes" and one of the ways to do that is to vote and at least try to put someone in office who is not ashamed to admit he prays and seeks God's wisdom. GWB may not always fit someone's denominational doctrine or know as much about end time prophecy as some on this forum, but he certainly is closer to what many of the  "Doves" believe than John Kerry.
