"RE: Outpouring of Spirit
and Tribulation"
This is what I have come to believe.
The world will get darker and those that are abiding
in Jesus (the bride) will shine brighter.
Prov 4:18
18 But the path of the righteous is as the dawning light,
That shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
It would seem to me that there will be persecution towards
the church after the economy collapses (which is likely to happen the next
time there is an attack on our country).
As a result those who are abiding will begin to go even
deeper into Jesus...the inevitable result of such is for God to pour out
his spirit.
Now if he pours out his Spirit on all flesh that which
is happening in China will also happen where ever "all flesh" resides.
In China there is much persecution and there is much
revival. Yet at the same time in America there is a great falling away.
All 3 are happening at the same time.
It is not impossible for the same to happen all over
the world. In fact it is quite likely. Will our sons and daughters prophesy?
Sure. Will there be persecution and trouble? Sure. Will there also be a
great falling away among nominal Christians? Sure.
When God pours out his Spirit things happen like they
are happening in China now...revival and persecution.
Things happen like they did for Jesus...people choose.
Jesus died even though the Spirit of God was moving mightily when Jesus
walked the earth.
So, the Father can pour out his spirit on all flesh.
In doing so people will choose. Yet, there will be a great apostasy...which
is already happening. There will be a move of God's Spirit upon the unsaved...which
is already happening as well in China and other countries.
Soon these things will happen here. But it won't be roses
and perfume. It will be persecution and sweat. It won't have the favor
of the government and it won't restore the "American way".
The government will be against us as it is in China.
The apostatized church will be against us as the Jews were against Jesus.
Yet God will be performing true signs and wonders through his saints in
the midst of all the turmoil and suffering...because he will be pouring
out his Spirit on all flesh.
He pours out his Spirit so people will choose. He pours
out his Spirit so those who are walking in the light will be even brighter
that the apostate church will become obvious. He pours out his Spirit that
he might glorify himself among the nations through his bride.
This is not inconsistent with the ways of God nor the
scriptures. It just combines several areas and makes them one picture.
This is what I think.
