I am not sure if or how this may connect, but in the year 2000, when we
were expecting the rapture that year, I wrote:
________________I was told that if you count back exactly 2,000 verses, beginning with the
last verse in Revelation chapter 3, you land exactly on the rapture verse
of 1 Corinthians 15:51, which says, "Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will
not all sleep, but we will all be changed."Is that amazing, or what? Verse 52 completes the thought with, "...in a
flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet
will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed."I have not personally verified this but I am told it has been repeatedly
checked and verified by 2-3 people. It seems unlikely that this can be mere coincidence. Is this another hint
at the significance of two millennial days (2,000 years) from Jesus' birth,
or the year 2,000? Judge for yourself, but it seems astonishing to me.

prophetic years later -- 1971.3 modern years -- would be 2004.)
