My reply: You are very well on the right path of thinking---HOWEVER---you missed a point and that is---that the event you are describing will happen when Jesus returns after the trib.----not b/4----Do you remember that the Bible says that Atonement is the day of---MOURNING?---OK---now compare that with the verse below and see for yourself that what you are saying has nothing to do with the rapture but rather with the second coming!--

"Immediately after the tribulation of those days........shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven....." Matt. 24:29-30

>>> Did you notice the word "MOURN" in that statement?----that's exactly what it is---A day of mourning---which is "DAY OF ATONEMENT"---See, I used to think the way you did until I realized I was off!----Also notice the verse below which say the same thing--

"Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen." Rev. 1:7

>>> Did you notice the word "wail"---pretty much same thing as "MOURN"---So as I've stated-----Atonement has to do with His second coming---not rapture---because you have to remember that when he comes at the rapture---people for the most part will be going on with life as normal---as opposed to a global mourning at his second coming which is clearly what takes place on Atonement.
