THe Spiritual Root of Antisemitism
 
Dear John, and doves,
 
Much has been said and written on the subject of Antisemitism. It is a spectre of evil seen repeatedly in Christendom. We saw as the crusades prepared to leave Europe for the Holy Land. We saw it during the centuries of the Spanish Inquisition and in the pogroms of eastern Europe and Russia. More recently we saw it in Nazi Germany in the years before and during World War 2.
 
Antisemitism is usually regarded as some obscure racial feud or just another case of  religious discrimination. But is there a deeper spiritual basis for this hatred of the Jews? Do they have some spiritual treasure that other men desire to possess but cannot seem to attain? Are the powers of darkness seeking to destroy this covenant connection. If so, what might that connection be?
 
This is an important issue for Christian believers. Because we know that Antisemitism will arise again in the history of the endtime. Indeed it will climax at the Battle of Armageddon.
