"David Booth"
Hi John & All:
I did find the article
posted here yesterday (April 20th), to be very interesting. I will certainly
be watching to see if anything life-changing occurs between then and May
20th, 2004, without spiritualizing any particular event to fulfill the
physical prophecy.
Not to be offensive to any of the Doves, but I
was really put off by the included link that lead to the Trinity Refuge
web page. For one thing, it is extemely unscriptural to suggest that
Mary was our "co-redeemer" from sin. The Word of God teaches that
without the shedding of the Blood of Jesus, there is no salvation.
It also further teaches that there is no other name by which we can be
saved. Indeed, every knee shall bow to the Name of Jesus, to the
glory of God the Father.
Further, visions are
not going to save anyone... only the Word of God (Jesus) will. The
Word of God clearly states this in the parable of Lazarus and the rich
man (Luke 16: 19-31):
"Then he said, I pray thee
therefore, father, that thou
wouldest send him to my
father's house:
For I have five brethren;
that he may testify unto
them, lest they also come
into this place of torment.
Abraham saith unto him, They
have Moses and the
prophets; let them hear
them.
And he said, Nay, father
Abraham: but if one went
unto them from the dead,
they will repent.
And he said unto him, If
they hear not Moses and
the prophets, neither will
they be persuaded, even
though one rose from the
dead."
- Luke 16: 27-31
It should be noted that
"Moses and the prophets" (i.e. the Word of God), pointed to the atoning
Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. Anything else is very dangerous and
unscriptural.
This slant alone of
the aforementioned website gives me reason to doubt the veracity of David
Booth's vision. But I will watch and see... without "spiritualizing"
anything to make the prophecy self-fulfilling.
Does anyone know of
a credible news link that talks about Booth's vision of the airliner crash
outside of Chicago in 1979, and his talks with the Federal Aviation Authority?
See ya in the air,
Eric
