ABC's Latest 'Jesus & Paul' Special Denigrates
Christianity, Group Says

(I only watched an hour of Peter Jennings and the ABC-TV
show called "Jesus and Paul" on Monday night, and found it a waste of time
to listen to a liberal point of view. Retired Episcopal John Shelby
Spong was also on the show, and he's about as liberal as you can get.
Not only does he believe that homosexuality is not a sin, but he also wrote
a number of articles, one of which was called, "Reforming Christology:
He Did Not Die For My Sins" at http://www.dioceseofnewark.org/vox30599.html
He considers himself a Christian, but does not believe that Jesus died
for his sins. Now why would Peter Jennings choose someone like John Shelby
Spong to be on the show because a search on the internet would have brought
up Spong's website at http://www.dioceseofnewark.org/voxspong.html
which gives a list of articles Spong has written and his views, which
don't go along with scripture. I only can assume that Peter Jennings chose
Spong to be on the show due to his extremely liberal view of the Bible.)
