"THANKS  RHONDA JACKSON!"

Dear Rhonda,

Thanks so much for sharing with us at 5doves the poem called GOLDEN CLOUDS IN A SILVER SKY at http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/apr2004/rhondaj45.htm

The poem beautifully expresses what is written in both Isaiah 64:4 and 1 Corinthians 2:9.  Isaiah 64:4 says, "For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him."  1 Corinthians 2:9 says, "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." The title of the poem also reminded me of Proverbs 25:11, "A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver."

I expect heaven will contain more than our limited human minds can even imagine, and that God will have great and wonderful surprises in store for all of those who love him. Who knows if there are really singing flowers up in heaven, maybe there will be talking animals up in heaven as well.  Can you imagine having a pet that you loved and took care of on earth thanking you for caring for them on earth, and telling you that they love you.

God bless,
Donna
