"Nicea & The "Invasion"
of Bishops In Other Dioceses"
http://www.virtuosityonline.org/portal/modules/news/article.php?storyid=733
I thought this a very interesting article as to how heretical
bishops were handled in the early church. Anyone baptized by a heretical
bishop had to be rebaptized and no one could take communion from a heretical
bishop which is the reason why no conservative orthodox Episcopalians should
receive communion from a liberal revisionist Episcopalian bishop nor to
be baptized by him. Also according to this article an orthodox bishop had
to officiate in a diocese where a heretical bishop had his diocese although
an orthodox bishop didn't normally officiate in another orthodox bishop's
diocese unless invited.
