"THE FOOLISH MAN LACKS FAITH"

Dear John & Doves,

Here is an article called 'Pro-Choice' Clergywoman Claims God Often Wills Abortion at
http://headlines.agapepress.org/archive/4/12004d.asp which I am going to use to illustrate the foolish man's lack of faith.

I think you would agree with me that it's really tragic to see all these unborn babies die from abortion with their tiny lives snuffed out like they don't matter at all, and to also see a clergy woman tell congress that God can enable a woman to choose abortion as her best option when the Bible clearly states thou shalt not kill (murder) as one of the Ten Commandments.  Believing abortion is okay is definitely an opinion contrary to scripture. Faith must be supported by scripture and based on scripture; otherwise it is not faith.  It's like the foolish man who built his house with no foundation, and the  foolish man's faith unsupported by scripture doesn't stand the test (the rain descending, and wind blewing and beating against it) because he lacks faith.  Now the wise man's faith supported by scripture (the rock and word of God) stands the test (the rain descending and wind blewing and beating against it), and his faith is supported by scripture which shows that his faith has passed the test.  The wise man's faith (house that remains standing) stands for the truth and is supported by the scriptures while the foolish man's lack of faith in the truth contained in the scriptures causes him to fall into sin.  This is shown by his house falling down, and he now lacks a house to live in just as he lacks faith to believe in the scriptures.  The foolish man based his so called faith on something other than scriptures.  This is the reason why our faith should be based on scripture which is the foundation of our faith; otherwise we have no foundation for our faith, and it will show our lack of faith to believe that the scriptures are the truth.

God bless,
Donna
