"STAND FIRM FOR THE TRUTH
& WHAT YOU BELIEVE"
Dear John
& Doves,
None of us know with
100% certainty who is saved or unsaved nor do we know who has repented
of certain sins or who has not. We only know what sins we have personally
repented of, and what bondages of sin that our Lord Jesus Christ has broken
in our own life. Praise his name!
However, every day
when we do pray we can ask the Lord to have the Holy Spirit lead us and
guide us and to please make us aware of any unknown sins in our lives by
searching our hearts and our minds so that we can confess them and repent
of them and so that we can love him with all our hearts, souls and minds.
And if we are struggling with a sin, we can cry out to the Lord Jesus from
our heart to help break the bondage of sin in our life. I know that
I have done this in the past, and he has never let me down. He has
always found a way to get the sin out of my life that was displeasing to
him. He would bring me to a point where I no longer wanted to have
anything more to do with the sin I had been struggling with.
However, as the day
of the Rapture draws nearer, what we can do is continue to teach what is
in the scriptures and to exhort one another with scripture so that none
of us, including myself, fall into sin nor into false doctrine. 2
Timothy 3:16 says, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is
profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in
righteousness: That the man of God may be made perfect, throughly furnished
unto all good works." So we certainly should use scripture for exhortation,
correction, teaching and as the foundation of the sound doctrine that we
believe.
Now the reason why
I exhort and earnestly warn Christians to repent of their sins and of false
doctrine is due to the fact that back in 1995 while I was reading the parable
of the Five Wise And Five Foolish Virgins in Matthew 25, the Holy Spirit
revealed to me that this Bible passage showed a DIVISION in the church.
The 5 Wise Virgins were being true and faithful to the Lord and to
his word, and they believed that his scriptures were the truth. It
was the foundation of their faith. The 5 Foolish Virgins were being
unfaithful to the Lord; and when the bridegroom Jesus comes, the 5 Foolish
Virgins are left behind to go through the tribulation period. That
was the spiritual understanding of that parable that he gave me, and I
am sticking to it. I intend to stand firm for what I believe until
the very end. This parable is tied with Ecclesiastes 10:2 in the
RSV which says, "A wise man's heart inclines him toward the right, but
a fool's heart toward the left." The 5 Wise Virgins hearts will incline
them to do right which is what is written in the scriptures. They
will see the truth in the scriptures as being right. The 5 Foolish
Virgins hearts will incline them to believe and do opposite of what the
Bible says. You can presently can see the divisions in our present
day churches and the issues that divide them with one side believing the
truth in the scriptures and the other side believing a heresy which is
contrary to scripture. That is why each and everyone of us need to
stand firm for our faith, and for the truth contained in the scriptures
no matter what the cost and no matter what anyone says against us.
Jesus said in Matthew 5:11-12, "Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you,
and persecute you and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely,
for my sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad: for great is your reward
in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you!"
Also please don't
forget that 1 Peter 2:17 says, "For the time is come judgment
must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at
us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?"
I firmly believe at the Rapture that the house of God will be judged accordingly
as to who was wise and who was foolish. 1 Corinthians 11:31-32 also
says, "For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not
be condemned with the world."
God bless,
Donna
