Blair: IDF action same as Hamas terror

Jerusalem (jnewswire.com) - In a case of
hypocritical moral equivalency,
"Great" Britain's finest Monday directly compared
Israeli anti-terror military
actions with the brutal terrorism of groups such
as Hamas.
"We condemn the targeted assassination of Abdel-Aziz
al Rantisi just
as we condemn all terrorism, including that perpetrated
by Hamas," British
Prime Minister Tony Blair told reporters in response
to questions about
Israel's execution of the rabidly Jew-hating Hamas
leader.
On Sunday, Blair's foreign minister, Jack Straw,
issued a similar condemnation,
calling Israel's act of justice "unlawful, unjustified
and counterproductive."
Ironically, the government headed by Blair and Straw
recently froze the bank
accounts of Rantisi in England because of his involvement
in terrorist activities.
But while both men deny Israel the right to physically
deal with its enemies,
British armed forces remain actively engaged in
mercilessly hunting down
insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan.
