"Are Babies in Heaven"

A book called "Scenes Beyond the Grave" Visions of Marietta Davis, tells of a young girl back in the 1800's who fell into a deep sleep for nine days.  When she awoke, she had a very long story to tell of her visit to heaven (and hell).  Much of the book focuses on BABIES and how they are cared for and "raised" by heavenly beings, so if they had lived, when you see them again, they will be as mature as they should be in that time frame.  Marietta gives great detail and is very thorough and gives beautiful descriptions of what she saw and learned.

The book was republished after 100 years by Gordon Lindsay of Christ for the Nations.  Here is a portion of his words from the foreward:
"So great was the interest in the original publication of the book, Scenes Beyond the Grave, which appeared in print approximately a century ago, that no less than twenty-three editions followed within a period of a few years.  One hundred years have elapsed since that time and most of the books of that day have been forgotten and have lost their value, except as historical records.  But in the case of Scenes Beyond the Grave, we consider it a most unfortunate omission that no publisher of recent time so far as we know has made available to the present generation so important a document."

The spirit of the book rings true with me.  I should think it would be of great comfort for anyone who has lost a child.
