SECOND PASSOVER and the MONTH OF MAY TIMELINE

 

Last year there was quite a lot of discussion on 5 doves regarding the 2nd Passover.  Much anticipation was generated about the possibilities, and then we waited and nothing happened.

 

It is my experience, that quite often when God "quickens" a message to us, we research it and look at it closely;  but then if it seems to have no immediate relevance or fulfilment, we forget about it, and lose heart.    However, I  think that in looking at a subject for the first time, God sometimes gives us a preview and preparation for something that he intends to do later, and we should not forget about it, nor lose heart.  Fortunately, Glen Hall has not done this, and has again posted an article about the 2nd PASSOVER.  Whether or not this will apply to this year or not, will remain to be seen, but there are some very interesting possibilities.

 

Recent posts regarding 2nd Passover from Glen Hall (22 April 2004) -(Which is an excellent study),  together with last year's posts on this subject from  Steve Berryman (17 April 2003 - 18 April 2003 - 23 April 2003 - 24 April 2003) and Glen Hall (26 April 2003 - 29 April 2003) Ted Porter (28 April 2003) and Steve Berryman (1 May 2003) "The Midnight Knock and Pentecost";  have caused me to consider the implications of laying the time-line of the 2nd Passover, over the continuing time-line of 1st Passover, the counting of the Omer, and Pentecost 2004.

 

A good rationale for thinking that 2nd Passover might be a good "watching period" would be the fact that none of us are considered to be "without sin".    We are all to be found "carnal" to some degree or other, and therefore are not worthy to be raised as "Passover lambs" without spot or blemish as at the 1st Passover .  The feast of "Unleavened bread" does not really apply to us, because we are living in a transition age, somewhere in between the Age of Law  and the Kingdom of Christ.    We call it the Age of Grace, wherein our Sin is covered by the unleavened sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ.    The Second Passover, would therefore be a more opportune time for the Church to be raised to resurrection life, and this would distinguish between Christ "the first-fruit" and his body "the Church". We have been promised however, that we will be raised incorruptible, with new glorified bodies that reflect Christ.   My understanding of events is that this will happen before the "last days" come to their fulfilment, and that it is this event that makes Israel "mourn" for their rejected Messiah.

 

A thought that comes immediately to mind to support this is the fact that Romans 10:19 says

"But I say, Did not Israel know?  First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.  But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not;  I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.  But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people."

And then in Romans 11:11

"I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall?   God forbid; but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy…(verse 25).."that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in."

 

Fulness - Strongs 4138 pleroma -  full, fulfilling, piece that filled up, put in to fill up.    My understanding of this phrase is that what is missing is added, i.e., we have the "earnest of our inheritance" in the Holy Spirit's coming at the founding of the Church.    We have yet to receive the early and latter rain to bring the Church forth to fruit (i.e. the glory of Christ being seen in his people.)     This is the fruit that God is looking for, and immediately he sees it, he will put in the sickle and harvest the fruit thereof.

Mark 4:26-29 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;  and should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.  For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself;  first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.  But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come."

 

 

That this hasn't happened yet is evidenced by Paul's prayers in Eph. 3:19 and 4:13, and as he states in Romans 8:19, 22-23 -

"For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God…  For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.  And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body." 

This is our Christian hope, -  that we come "unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ".

 

Yes, JESUS will come like a thief,  but the fact that he will come like a thief does not mean HE LEAVES LIKE ONE.     He will come suddenly to HIS TEMPLE!!    That is his body - The CHURCH.

 

SECOND PASSOVER  -

 

We are now in a period of time called "Counting the Omer" which ends at Pentecost.

I thought it would be interesting to lay down the 2nd Passover time-line over normal Gentile and Hebrew Calendar and see what happens.     As you know we are also in the middle of a time of signs and wonders in the heavens.     We have three naked eye comets in the heavens at present, with conjunctions, eclipses, occultations, all happening prior to Pentecost, followed by the transit of Venus across the face of the Sun on June 8th.   I have drawn up a diary with all the details I can muster.   It's a bit like my previous post WATCH VENUS (31st March).

 

THE MONTH IYAR (ZIF) was the month that Solomon laid the foundation of the house of the LORD.

1 Kings 6:1   "And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the FOURTH year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD>

1 Kings 6:37   "In the FOURTH year was the foundation of the house of the LORD laid, in the month Zif.   And in the eleventh year, in the month BUL, which is the 8th month, was the house finished throughout all the parts thereof, and according to all the fashion of it.   So was he SEVEN years in building it."
